Rev. Danny Loretz, Sr.

Rev. Danny J. Loretz, Sr., age 69 of Carlisle, Arkansas, passed from this life on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at his home. He was a minister for 41 years. He served as Pastor at Roberson Memorial Baptist Mission, Minister of Music at First Baptist Church at Carlisle, and Immanuel Baptist Church at Carlisle, and Associate Pastor for 17 years at Lonoke Baptist Church. Danny loved his computers, camping with his wife, riding his tractor, and spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sally Baxley Loretz; one son, Danny Jack Loretz, Jr. of Conway; one daughter, Shelly Allen and husband John of Prattsville; three grandchildren, Alaina Allen, Grayson Allen, Thatcher Allen, all of Prattsville; two brothers, Michael Loretz and wife Barbara of Austin, John Loretz and wife April of Castle Pines, Colorado; and several loving nieces, nephews and other family. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Lonoke Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Interment is at Carlisle Cemetery.
