Rev. Allen

Rev. Archie Loyce Allen, 82, of North Little Rock, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 13, 2012. He started preaching when he was 17 and ministered for 65 years in the Pentecostal Church of God. He was a very kind and loving man who spent his life serving others through ministering the Lord's word. He touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Mike Allen and wife Terri of Alexander; daughter, Phyllis Macklin and husband Frank of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Candy Ruby and husband Jeff, Melissa Allen, Maegan Smith and Aaron Macklin; great-grandchild, Haven Ruby: two brothers, Clarence and Lloyd Allen; two sisters, Sylvia Franks and Helen Gary.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Allen; parents, Jasper and Roxie Allen; two brothers, Chester and Carl Allen.
Memorials may be made to the Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Cornerstone Worship Center. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
