Retta Safley
Retta Safley, 74, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 after a 4 years battle with cancer. She was a retired school teacher and worked at Kroger for many years. She enjoyed writing and traveling.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Martha Safley, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; three sisters, Flo Fisher, of Seattle, Washington, Dollie Sitton, of Ft. Worth, Texas, and her twin sister and brother-in-law, Gretta and Richard Chronister, of Little Rock; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Flora Safley; brothers, Glen, Joe and Jamie Safley; and her sister, Ollie Branch.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Ave., Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
