Regina Bawiec

Regina Ann (Kordsmeier) Bawiec, 83 of North Little Rock passed from this life on December 8, 2021. She was born January 19, 1938, in Morrilton, Arkansas, the tenth of eleven children born to the late Louis and Mary (Yanker) Kordsmeier. Regina was a devoted member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, as well as assisting with church finances, altar society functions and as a member of the Rosary Sodality. She loved the outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, and trips to the gulf. Regina also loved animals and square dancing.  She retired from the Kroger Company in 1998 after many years of working at the North Little Rock Distribution Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of sixty-one years, Jacob Bawiec, several siblings and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am, Monday, December 13, 2021, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. Rosary will begin at 10:00am, immediately prior to the mass. Visitation will be 6:00pm-7:00pm, Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
