Reggie Peacock

Reginald Bruce "Reggie" Peacock died Monday, September 21, following a brief illness. He was surrounded by his Group Living, Inc. family just as he was in life. For twenty years, Reggie has been the lead baker at Honeycomb Restaurant where he became famous for homemade bread served daily, his brownies and his Italian Cream Cake. His passions were playing sports on Wii, folk music, walking, drawing, travel, putt-putt golf, trains, baseball and camping.

Reggie is survived by his large Group Living, Inc. family and hundreds of friends in Arkadelphia and beyond. He was loved and admired by everyone who knew him. Reggie was a member of First United Methodist Church where, for years, he made perfect coffee for the Upper Room Sunday School Class. Reggie was the recipient of an Individual Achievement Award from the State Autism Society.

Group Living would like to acknowledge the following facilities and their staffs for Reggie's loving care at the end of his life. Dr. Gary Gehrki, Drs. Bauer and Siddiqi, Arkadelphia Baptist Hospital, Twin Rivers Rehabilitation, St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock and Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock.

Visitation is Thursday, Sept. 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home. Burial will be private. A memorial service/birthday party/celebration of Reggie's life will be held on October 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Honeycomb Restaurant at 705 Main Street in Arkadelphia. The public is invited.
