Rebecca L Wacaster

Rebecca “Becky” Wacaster, age 71, of Hot Springs, left this world on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, to walk on streets of gold with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She was born on August 28, 1951, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Walter Edward Hogue and Betty Jean Mann Hogue Cunningham.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Ricky Hogue.

Becky was a Christian and a member of Legacy Church where she was a greeter.  You could always expect a beautiful smile and a warm welcome every Sunday morning.  She was very loving, generous, outgoing, funny and made friends everywhere she went.  Becky had a flare for decorating, style and fashion.  Becky just loved people, she was selfless and was a good listener.  She was a dear friend to so many and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.    

She is survived by her son, John Michael Wacaster; two sisters, Nancy Hernandez and Judy Van Abel; nieces and nephews, Regina Lovato, Christine Contreras, Ian Van Abel, Emily Smyly and Adam Van Abel; extended family and a host of wonderful friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, April 17, 2023, in the Legacy Church, 3540 Central Avenue, Hot Springs, AR.
