Rebecca Ann Sunderman, 72, of Batesville formerly of North Little Rock passed from this life on May 4, 2021. She was born October 13, 1948 in Pulaski County Arkansas to the late Jonathan Grant Cooper and Mary Rhodes Atkinson Cooper. Mrs. Sunderman was a faithful member of Arbanna Baptist Church in Mountain View. She was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. Other hobbies included gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents a son, Jonathan Coker, and brother, Thomas Anderson Cooper preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband and best friend of forty-four years, Waldo Sunderman; four stepchildren; brother, Richard (Janene) Cooper; sister, Martha Dalton; nieces, Thomas Anderson Cooper Jr., Sarah (Konrad) Rhodes Anderson, Katherine (Nick) Elizabeth Cooper Bussell, Emily Jeanne Cooper, Crystal Gayle Cooper Kurtz and nephew, Herman Grady. Other survivors include great nieces and nephews, Finn Anderson, Evelyn Anderson and Cooper Rhew Bussell along with many other family and dearly loved friends.

At Rebecca’s request no services will take place at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to the Throat Cancer Foundation at www.throatcancerfoundation.org/donate.
