Rebecca Johnston

Rebecca Sue Johnston, 78, of North Little Rock, passed away on July 21, 2013. She was born Rebecca Sue Rowland, in Dumas, August 17, 1934. She was a retired LPN, having been employed by the North Little Rock VA hospital for many years. Born into an Army family and married into an Air Force family, she had opportunities to see more of the world than most people. Rebecca was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by all.
Rebecca was predeceased by her husband, James Douglas Johnston (2008), her parents, Thomas Norman Rowland, Eunice Rowland (1984), and her older sister, Miriam Rowland (1969). She is survived by her younger sister and husband, Norma and Lewis Gallagher, Dallas, Texas, two children, Pamela Morrill and David Johnson, both of North Little Rock, and one grandson and wife, William and Valeria Morrill, San Antonio, Texas.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
