Reba Abbott

Reba M. Abbott, 84, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2020. She was born December 2, 1935 in North Little Rock to Earlie and Inez Bridges Abbott. She worked all of her working life at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She was a member of Smyrna Full Gospel Church, an avid bowler and was inducted into the Little Rock Bowling Association Hall of Fame.

Reba was a great matriarch to her family and is survived by nieces and nephews, Steve and Laura Murphy, Berl and Donna Westmoreland, Jeremy and Chari Murphy, Richard and Jessica Murphy, Matt Murphy, Demien Murphy, Brandon Gresham, Chasity, Alanis, Savannah, Lili, Mason, Elijah, Mayla, Zoe, Hayden, Jaylee, Colt, Carsen, Colin, Tabitha, Andrew, Hilda and James; her very special friends, Steve Gray, Toby Rayburn, Suda Bailey, Mavis and Don; and two special groups, Blue Cross lunch and brunch and Lake View Ladies Bowling League and many more lifetime friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joann Murphy; and nephew Leon Murphy and Bobbi Tanner.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 20th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery.
