Reatha was born January 3, 1929, in Glenwood, AR to Cleve and Lucy Vaughn.  She was the youngest of eight children.  Reatha married Henry Robbins on Valentine's Day in 1950.  They were married 58 years before Henry passed away in 2008.  Reatha accompanied Henry on the pipeline for many years. They traveled to many states including Alaska as well as countries Canada and Venezuela.  They eventually built a home together in Caddo Gap where they raised their three children, Tim, Tina, and Todd.  Reatha was a hard worker and enjoyed being active.  She and Henry spent many years cattle ranching on the Robbins Family Farm.  For recreation, they enjoyed camping and fishing on nearby lakes with family and friends.

Reatha enjoyed visiting relatives at the annual Robbins Family reunion. She loved flowers and she took great pride in beautifying the Robbins Family Cemetery.  Reatha was a great cook, and her Thanksgiving rolls and cornbread stuffing were family favorites.  Reatha learned how to paint and painted many portraits of the Robbins Old House place as well as the Swinging Bridge in Caddo Gap.

Reatha enjoyed many sports. She was on the girls’ basketball team in school.  Later in life, Reatha took up golfing and enjoyed outings with her friends.  She later joined the Glenwood Senior Center, and she loved being a member of the Bean Bag Baseball team and competing in tournaments.

Reatha will be dearly missed by her surviving family members:  her son, Tim Robbins (Becky) of Caddo Gap, AR; daughter, Tina Robbins of Little Rock, AR; and son, Todd Robbins (Lori) of Conway, AR; five grandchildren:  Misty Williams (Dempsey), Jeremy Gould (Farrah), Jessica Robbins (Cole), Kyle Robbins (Christina), and Troy Robbins (Adrienne); eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
