Dad will be so dearly missed by so many people. He was deeply loved by his family and friends. Dad was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, and friend. He had a loving and caring heart which was evidenced by how he and mom opened their home up to both friends and family that needed help. The majority of their marriage they had someone living with them. Dad was also funny and a great prankster. He loved to play good pranks on friends and family. He also enjoyed being outside. He loved taking care of his yard and home. He had a deep love for his family. We have many great memories of Dad taking us to the park, camping, fishing, swimming, and just playing outside with me, Mona and our friends. Our dad was a terrific man. He was a loving husband to our mom too. Even though our hearts are sad and we’ll truly miss him, we are glad he lived his life on his terms and is now at peace.
The family want to express our deepest gratitude to all the staff at hospice. They did an outstanding job with Dad and our family.
The family will hold a private gathering to celebrate Dad’s life at a later date.
