Raymond Aldon Berry, Sr., 80, of Benton, Arkansas passed away July 19, 2017. He was born July 14, 1937 in Benton, Arkansas to the late Raymond C. and Dora M. Bierman Berry.
Raymond was a former deacon and member of Wright's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for many companies delivering freight all across the United States. During his spare time, Raymond enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a collector of hidden treasures found at local auctions and yard sales. His days were usually started off by going to McDonalds for coffee and breakfast.
Raymond was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Berry; parents, Raymond C. and Dora M. Bierman Berry; and brother, Dale Berry.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Teresa Isom and husband Roy of Benton, Arkansas and Rhonda Baron of California; five sons: Raymond Berry, Jr. and wife Shirley of Galveston, Texas, Lawrence Berry and wife Kim of Benton, Tommy Berry and wife Tonya of Benton, Terry Berry and wife Jennifer of Benton, and Michael Ray Berry and wife Cathy of Texas; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers: Rick Berry and wife Nita of Avilla, Arkansas, Robert Berry and wife Janet of Benton, and Larry Berry and wife Pat of Benton; sister, Linda Johnson of Benton; and a host of family and friends who loved Raymond and will miss him always.
Reception visitation will be held 10:00 AM-Noon, Monday, July 24, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
