Ray Swindling

Ray Swindling, age 83 of Sparkman died Thursday, Nov 3, 2005 in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was Born Jan .15, 1922 in Mandan, North Dakota the son of the late Mr & Mrs. Frank Swindling. He was a WWII Army veteran and a resident of California for 40 years where he was a supervisor of the Berkeley Brass Foundry. When he retired he and his wife, moved to Sparkman, AR.


Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Kay Swindling; one daughter, Joyce Vargas of Sparkman; three grandchildren, Mark Hoyt, Jason McCready and Donna Jackson and four great-grandchildren.


Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, Nov 10, 2005 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM till service time. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis, TN.
