Ray Carter

Ray Lamar Carter, 67 of Little Rock, passed away on July 5, 2008. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Monticello, and was a special education school teacher in Dermott.
Survivors are his wife of 23 years, Evelyn Carter of Little Rock; 3 daughters, Paula K. Wilkins of Benton, Roberta Cranston (Will) of Maumelle, and Brenda Brink of Cabot; 2 sons, Terry Ray Carter (Crystal) of Sheridan, and Kenneth L. Carter of Warren; 3 grandchildren, Chase Carter, Austin Wilkins, and Brittany Zakrzewski; 1 sister, Brenda Hood of Hensley; and 1 brother, Charles Carter of Wilmar.
Funeral will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Pleasant Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello, Arkansas. Burial will be in Pleasant Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170.
