Randy Loyd Ballew, age 64, of Hot Springs, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 23, 2020.
He was born on February 28, 1956, in Ukiah, California, the son of Loyd Simpson Ballew and Vera Juanita Godwin Ballew.
Randy attended Gospel Light Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching and collecting anything “Dukes of Hazzard”. He also enjoyed putting together model cars and trucks.
He is survived by his parents, Pete and Juanita Ballew of Hot Springs; one brother, Vince Ballew of Boonville, California; two sisters, Judy Rone and Amy (Darrel) Kelley, all of Hot Springs; nephews and nieces, Dale (Angie) Hamilton of Donaldson, Cheryl (Fred) McClard of Hot Springs and Dixie Ballew (Michael) Miller of Ukiah, California; numerous extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 28, 2020, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Bro. Dale Hamilton and Bro. Ralph Hamilton officiating.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, near Buckville.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening.
Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 100 persons, at any one time, attending indoor services. At all services, you must avoid all physical contact. Attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering which conceals the mouth and nose at all times.
Pallbearers will be Robert Cannon, Britney Estes, Ralph Hamilton, Darrel Kelley, James Sims and Jeremy Sims.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Coupe, Dr. Matthew Osborn, the staff of Abilities Unlimited, the staff of Hot Springs Health and Rehab. and the staff of CHI, St. Vincent, Hot Springs, ICU.
