Randy W. Long, 47, of Sherwood died suddenly Saturday, November 25, 2006. He was the son of Nelda Jones and the late Don Long.
Randy is survived by his wife of 23 years, Brenda Long of Sherwood and her parents, Carl and Audrey Wright; his mother, Nelda Jones and her husband, John Jones; his brother, Mitch Long and his wife, Gale; and nieces, Ashley, Savannah and Miranda. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Carla Fort and her husband, David; a niece, Hannah; a nephew, Zachary; sister, Mary Wilson and her husband, Rusty and nephew, Cody. Randy was a devoted husband, brother, son and uncle and will be missed by a wonderful extended family and many friends.
Randy received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He was a long time employee at the Pine Bluff Arsenal and most recently served as the Site Project Manager for Pine Bluff Chemical Agent Disposal Facility.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your favorite charity.
The funeral service will be l0:00 am Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following.
