Ramona Rivera, 72, of Bauxite, Arkansas passed away April 28, 2017. She was born July 9, 1944 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to Jesus Gutierrez and the late Enedina Rodriguez Gutierrez.
Ramona was preceded in death by her mother.
She is survived by her loving husband, Raudel Rivera; children, Manuel Rivera and wife Rosario, Norma Ruiz and husband Armando, Claudia Mendoza and husband Alejandro, Susana Lara and husband Enrique, Laura Del Toro and husband Alejandro, Karina Cardenas and husband Gilberto, Luis Rivera and wife Silvia, and Cesar Martinez; grandchildren: Ricardo, Carolina, and Angelica River; Armando and Frida Ruiz; Alejandro and Evelyn Mendoza; Henry, Joseph, and Mark Lara; Laura and Alejandra Martinez; Gilberto Cardenas; and Debahny, Lesly, and Jenny Rivera; brothers, Angel Gutierrez, Mario Gutierrez, and Jesus Gutierrez, Jr.; sisters, Maria Elena Aguilar, Guadalupe Gutierrez, Leticia Galicia, and Silvia Gutierrez; and a host of family and friends who loved Ramona and will miss her always.
Reception visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Tuesday, May 2 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market St., Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 3 at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 801 Sherman St., Little Rock, Arkansas. Assisting as pallbearers are Manuel Rivera, Armando Ruiz, Jr., Ricky Rivera, Armando Ruiz, Sr., Enrique Lara, and Gilberto Cardenas.
