Ralph Williams

Ralph was an adventurous person and when he was in his mid twenties he came upon hard times emotionally and on a Sunday morning while walking from Alicia to his Mothers a few miles away on US highway 67, a man stopped and asked if he needed a ride. He said "I just made a split second decision, he said, "yes" and the man said "where to" "he said, as far as you are going." After two more rides He ended up in Florida.
After a period of time he started working in construction.  In an accident he sustained several fractures. After his recovery he came to Jonesboro, Arkansas, and entered college at ASU. He received a degree in Languages. He taught English and Spanish in Jacksonville, Florida as well as in El Paso, Texas.
He returned to Arkansas and was pastor of a small country church for awhile. He went back to El Paso, Texas where he lived for several years, before coming to Little Rock, Arkansas where he lived and married. After his wife passed away he moved to Heber Springs. He lived with his sister until in 2018 he fell. His leg was broken and after a short stay in a hospital he was placed in a nursing and rehabilitation facility where he remained until his death.
He is preceded by Mother and Father Archie and Gladys Baker Williams and Brother 's Jake, Paul, Billy Ray sisters Frances and Fern. Survived by Sister Pat of Herber Springs as well as many nieces and nephews.
One of his hobbies was playing music and singing. He had a strong faith and was very devoted to God.
