Ralph Thomas Santoro, age 85, of North Little Rock, Ark. went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, March 30, 2008. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on June 20, 1922.
Ralph is survived by his wife Blanche of 48 years; a brother Sal Santoro, a daughter Lynda Ables, three sons Walter Atkinson, Matt Santoro, & John Santoro; six grandchildren Ryan Ables, Mahriah Lambert, Rachel Ables, Samuel Santoro, Sabrina Santoro, and Daisy Santoro; and four great-grandchildren Taylor Lambert, Peyten Lambert, Caden Ables, and Palmer Ables, and a host of other friends and family.
Ralph proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. During his tour of duty in the Pacific, he made several island invasions and participated in the liberation of the Philippine Isles. Ralph retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and won many awards for salesmanship. He was active with Gideons International and was a dedicated member of Cedar Heights Church where he passionately taught Sunday School for many years.
Visitation will be from 6 ? 8 pm, Wednesday, April 2 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock (758-1170). Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, April 3 at Cedar Heights Church, 14510 Cedar Heights, North Little Rock at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Cedar Heights Church building fund.
