Ralph Jewell

Ralph (Gene) Jewell died February 22, 2015. He was born In Rhode Island to the late Roy and Sarah Jewell in 1922. He served in the Army Air Corp during world War II in England, where he met Helena Hawksworth, his wife of 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his very close friend and companion of 25 years, Velma Carr.
Gene was a loving, kind father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He could fix anything and shared this talent with anyone in need. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by his two daughters, Jean Moreno, husband Juan and Kathleen Bradford, husband, Jim; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters, whom he loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Online obituary at www.SmthFamilyCares.com .
