Ralph Henry Hubbard, 64, of Alexander, died Friday, June 6, 2008. He was born in Little Rock July 10, 1943 to Henry Lee and Geneva Osburn Hubbard. A 1961 graduate of Little Rock Central High School, he served in the U. S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in Tehran for four years. He then graduated from UALR with a B.S. in Biology and became a registered medical technologist. Ralph was a laboratory supervisor at Baptist Medical Center and he loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of Crystal Hill Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph is survived by his wife of forty-two years, Doris Harvey Hubbard and his two sons, Michael Hubbard and wife, Robin of North Little Rock and Scott Hubbard of Dallas, Texas. Also surviving are his three grandsons, Dillon Hubbard of North Little Rock, and Alec and Gage Hubbard of Dallas, Texas, and one sister, Susie Hubbard Courtney of Dumas.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 8 from 3-5 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Services will be on Tuesday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Larry Ballard. Burial will take place Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
