Rachelle McGrew Brown

Rachelle Brown, age 37, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, formerly of Glenwood, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016, in Little Rock. Rachelle was born on June 9, 1979 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Danny McGrew and Brenda Davis McGrew. On June 8, 1997, she was married to Brandon Brown. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Billy Ray McGrew; and her maternal grandparents, Cohen and Sevella Davis. Rachelle enjoyed spending her time making hair bows, crafts, shopping and being with her family. She especially loved doing anything that involved her two sons. She loved doing things for other people, the bigger the better, nothing halfway. She always went out of her way to make you feel loved and special. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rachelle is survived by her husband, Brandon Brown; her two sons, Connor (age 16) and Cayden (age 11), all of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; her parents, Danny and Brenda McGrew of Glenwood; her paternal grandmother, Betty McGrew of Glenwood; three siblings and their spouses, Danielle and Brandon Cassity of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Steven and Beth McGrew of Glenwood and Janelle and Bradley Cottrell of Blanchard, Oklahoma; three nieces, SerahBeth McGrew, Brooklyn McGrew and Hayden Cottrell; two nephews, Aspen Cassity and Kashton McGrew; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016, in the Glenwood First Baptist Church with Bro. Darrell Toliver and Bro. Aaron Vik officiating. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Glenwood First Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Steven McGrew, Brandon Cassity, Bradley Cottrell, Shane Brown, Dustin Brown and Terry Cummins. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
