Rachel Mechling

Rachel Ann Mechling, 46, of Haskell, Arkansas passed away August 4, 2021.  She was born November 11, 1974 in Winfield, Kansas to Floyd, Jr. and Rhonda (Tucker) Johnson.

Rachel worked as an environmental engineer for over fifteen years with GBMc and Associates.  She had a warm, outgoing personality and was always willing to help others.   Rachel loved shopping for shoes, and liked looking her best making sure her nails and toenails were done and her hair was colored and styled.  The beach was Rachel's happy place, where she enjoyed spending time with her family.  Her family was most important to Rachel.  She was an amazing cook and home decorator.  Rachel loved life and lived it to it's fullest.

Preceding Rachel in death are her son, Jacob Mechling; and father, Floyd Johnson, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Jim Mechling of Haskell, Arkansas; two daughters:  Ashton Phillips and husband Akeno, and Emma Watkins and husband Tyler; grandchildren:  Aryanna, Andrew, Conner, and Carson; and many family members and friends who love Rachel and will miss her always.
