R. D. Duckworth, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008. He was born June 5, 1923 in Austin, Arkansas to Rubin B. and Dollie Alma Harvey Duckworth. He was a member of St. Patrick?s Catholic Church, a Mason and a 26 year member of Elks Lodge 1004.
He is survived by his wife, M. Marie Evans Duckworth; two sons, Jerry E. Duckworth and Ryan Dale Duckworth, both of Little Rock; two sisters, Willadene Strachan and Betty Lou Blasingame, both of North Little Rock.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Harris officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
