Our mother, Quinnie Lucille Brantley, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, after a long illness with her heart and kidneys.
Mom was a registered dietician, a great mother, and a beloved grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Brantley, Sr.; a son, James D. Brantley, Jr.; a daughter, Lori G. Plumley; and a granddaughter, Amy M. Rogers.
She is survived by her children, Donna King and her husband, Tim. of Amity, AR, Terry Brantley and his wife, Tammy of Hillsboro, OR, Mary Ann Allen of Magnolia, AR, and Lisa M. Brantley of St. Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Seth Harrison of Oklahoma, Rachel Cagle of Cabot, AR, Tasha Brantley of St. Louis, MO., Tanya Franklin of Dallas, TX, Susan King of Benton, AR and Josiah Hudgins of Wilmington, NC; her sister, Doris Ann McVay of Fort Worth, TX; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. She was an avid churchgoer with an unbreakable faith in God. We will always remember her unfiltered personality and her love of her family.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Turner officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home, 209 North 3rd Street, Glenwood, AR 71943.
Interment will be held at Shiloh Cemetery in Bodcaw, AR at 2:30 PM.
