Quenan Ellis
Quenan Denise Ellis, 61, of Sherwood, Arkansas, a true follower of Jesus Christ, entered into her eternal life after a courageous battle with cancer Friday, December 4, 2015 at her home surrounded by her close family and lifelong friends.
Quenan is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Don Ellis; her father, Bill Duggan, Sherwood; three siblings, Tamerlane (Mark) Franks, Little Rock, Nathan (Sylvia) Duggan, Greenbrier; Clyde Duggan, Maumelle, her three children, Rachel (John) Barrett, Sherwood, Tracy (Brian) Wise, Cabot, Justin (Erika) Ellis, Sherwood; and five grandchildren, Chanse Wise, Hunter Wise, Olivia Wise, Ryan Barrett, and Taylor Barrett. Quenan was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Duggan.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from too many people to name individually, but including: the wonderful caregivers at CARTI and Arkansas Hospice - the love, care, and respect given to Quenan and to the family during this difficult time mean so much. For our church family, we thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement. For Julie Harris and Jennifer Lester, words simply cannot express our profound gratitude to you for the dear friends that you are.
There will be a visitation at First Assembly NLR, 4501 Burrow Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72116, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 followed by a Memorial Service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
