Presley Robertson, age 67, of Glenwood, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016. A lifelong resident of Glenwood, Presley was born at home on March 14, 1949, the son of J. J. Robertson and Burnie McGough Robertson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandparents, Ben and Josie McGough. He was retired from Weyerhaeuser Co., Gypsum Plant and well-known bush hogger around the community. A veteran of the United States Navy, Presley served two tours of duty for his country in Vietnam. He was a member of the Glenwood Church of Christ. An outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed showing off his black truck. He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda Robertson; a wonderful son, Ryan "Cody" Robertson; his brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie and Sharron Robertson; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Helen and James Leamons and Debra Nichols, all of Glenwood; several nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Tony Humphrey of Hot Springs. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 15, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
