Presley Wayne Ferguson, 78, of North Little Rock went to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, October 13, 2009. He was greeted by his parents, Ida and Bun, wife, Lucille, sisters, Maxine and Jerri. Wayne was a retired pressman for the Arkansas Gazette. Wayne was a decorated Korean War veteran and was honored at the Arkansas Korean War Memorials by officials of the Korean Government. Before his illness he was an active member of the Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief team where he ministered to others during times of disaster both in Arkansas and around the country. Wayne was an active volunteer at Park Hill Baptist Church where his ready laugh and hard work ethic was often seen at the Wellness Center and during work projects laying sod or building flowers beds at the missionary homes.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Crow (Mike); sons Mike and Greg, sister, Martha; grandchildren, Cord and Lauren; nieces, Pat Hillis, Kim Hogan (Randy), Cindy McCurry, Melinda McCurry and nephew, Eric (Joanna). Also left to cherish his memory are and a host of family and friends and his special friends at Bellwood Beauty Salon, where lots of crossword puzzles, good conversation and great friendships developed.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
