Polly Moore

Polly Moore, 89, of North Little Rock died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born February 3, 1924 in Memphis, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Moore; parents, Grace and Oscar Oakley and Audrey Gaylen Winn, Sr.; and her brother, Audrey Gaylen Winn, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Mary Louise Winn Anderson-Rosch (Jack); sons, Michael Moore (Sue) and Bill Moore, Jr. (Sandy); six grandchildren, Michael Moore, Amanda Moore, Jennifer Moore, Pollyanne Mobberley, Trey Moore and Renee Morrison; and eight great-grandchildren.
Polly was very active in her community. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, JLNLR Youth Home Board, volunteered at Baptist Health, Hays Center and other organizations. She enjoyed playing bridge, needle pointing and traveling.
The family would like to thank Lonoke Nursing and Rehabilitation and Arkansas Hospice for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 4016 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116 or Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Place, North Little Rock, Arkansas 7216.
A private family memorial service will be held at Memorial Park in Memphis. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home.
