Phyllis Pierce

Phyllis Ann Pierce (70) of North Little Rock passed away Monday, October 25, 2021. She was born March 29, 1951 in El Paso, Texas to John Pettey and Jackie Rickmond.

Phyllis grew up in a traveling military family learning point ballet and skiing to school in Germany, learned to figure skate at the roller rink in Texas, then moved to Arkansas where she met her husband of 53 years at Jim's Roller Rink. They begun their life together May 16, 1969 spending time outdoors trail riding motorcycles,  slot car racing, attending drag races and relaxing on the river. After starting a family they supported their kids traveling in baseball,  BMX racing, gymnastics and cheerleading. All the while working at Bridal Cottage. Then spending her personal time sewing and creating bunnies, bears and dolls selling them at local craft fairs, while Jimmy tinkered on his cars. Later they both enjoyed touring with the Arkansas Revival Choir spreading the gospel of Jesus all around Arkansas and the State Prisons. She dearly loved all her poodles and rescue dog Maggie. She enjoyed learning about the Bible and took classes at Pulaski Tech and Faith Bible Institute.  She loved learning about Angels and drawing them. She created a hand drawn Christmas coloring book for all the children at church one year. Phyllis was always giving and helping others in need, teaching and singing at church. Now she is singing and dancing with Jesus.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Jackie Pettey; and brother, Kenney Pettey.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Pierce; children, Billy Pierce, Jamie Danuwar (Deepak); and granddaughters Kristina Pierce and Rebecca Danuwar.

The Family will host a visitation at 5:00 PM, Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
