Phyllis L. Defrese, 77, of Little Rock, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019. Born in Centerville, Iowa, to Ervin Wilfawn and Marie Rogers, she retired from Metropolitan Bank. She was a member of the Mabelvale Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Defrese (Wynell) of Tennessee, Kim Reese (Marty) of Eudora, Steven Defrese of Jacksonville, grandchildren, Cohrtney Hooper (Alan), Jessica Hand (Cliff), Jeremy Defrese (Laura), Andrew Lewey (Alexis), Nicholas Lewey (Joanna), and Hunter Young (Jamie); eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Ardy Jones (Fred) and Frances McCarty; and son-in-law, Bill Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray Defrese and daughter, Melanie Montgomery.
Visitation will be Monday, October 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services are Tuesday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Dennis Gulledge, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
