Phyllis Bowers

Phyllis Carol Bowers, 63, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away May 24, 2021.  She was born in Morrilton, Arkansas on February 16, 1958 to the late Beacher and Vern Mae (Douglas) Lofton.

Phyllis worked as a CNA at Baptist Southwest Hospital.  She was married to William, the love of her life, for twenty-two years.  Phyllis loved jewelry, humming birds, flowers, and planting herb gardens.  She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed learning new recipes on cooking shows on television.  Her work family at Baptist Southwest was very special to her, and she created many wonderful friendships over the many years she worked there.  Phyllis also enjoyed spending time outdoors and crocheting.

Phyllis leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, William Bowers of Little Rock, Arkansas; granddaughter Molli Bowers; brother, Frank Moody; sister, Nancy Hauvard; cousin, Cindy Hance; and so many friends who love Phyllis and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Thursday, May 27, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.
