Phillip Morris "Foxman" Stiles, born on January 25, 1944, in Holly Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025. He was a dedicated and skilled plant manager for a brass foundry, where he was respected for his professionalism and commitment to excellence.
Known affectionately by the nickname "Foxman," which he proudly carried as his CB handle, Phillip was a man of many passions and a love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours outdoors, cultivating a deep admiration for nature. Whether he was fishing, hunting, or creating his renowned "Foxfires", Phillip reveled in sharing these joyful moments with his family. His mechanical aptitude was well-known, as he possessed the remarkable ability to fix nearly anything that required repair.
Phillip had a profound love for animals. His generosity extended beyond mere companionship; he regularly fed local wildlife and strays, keeping a supply of dog and cat food in his vehicle to ensure no animal went hungry. He delighted in feeding birds and even fostered a bond with buck deer, he named Jo Jo, nurturing relationships that highlighted his compassionate spirit.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 1/2 years, Martha (Anderson) Stiles of Bryant, Arkansas; two daughters, Connie Mirecki and her husband John of Richfield, Wisconsin, and Linda Kreuser and her husband Jerry of Benton, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Crystal Wyman, John Mirecki, Jr., Anthony "Tony" Mirecki, and Adam Mirecki; and six great-grandchildren, Chastity, Trinity, Savannah, Seth, Ashlee, and Sophia. Phillip also leaves behind his brother Eddie Stiles and his wife Charlotte of Hot Springs, Arkansas, his sister Opal Faye Harris of Chidester, Arkansas, his best friend Randy Butcher of Chidester, Arkansas, as well as his cherished "Granddog" Gracie. His loving family and a host of friends will hold him dearly in their hearts and miss him deeply.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland and Mollie Maline (Ross) Stiles, and siblings Jodie Stiles, Pearlene Yeager, Grover Stiles, Inez Finney, and Eugene "Punk" Stiles.
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Evergreen Living Center for their compassion, kindness, and care, and to the team at Elite Hospice for their support during this difficult time.
