Phillip Joseph Marshall, fondly known as P.J., was born on January 26, 1985, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Patricia House and Timothy Marshall. He was raised by Debra Malin, who he called Mom, and stepfather Turner. P.J.'s childhood was filled with love and support from his family. He attended school in Bauxite, where he experienced some of the best years of his life. P.J. excelled in playing football for the Miners, earning the nickname “Pknuckle”, and made cherished memories during this time.
P.J.'s strong work ethic led him to join Richard and Stephanie Reilly at R&S Landscaping. Over the course of 13 years, P.J. established deep bonds with the Reillys, who became like family to him. He was a dedicated employee and a hard worker, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he worked with.
On November 10, 2023, Arkansas Heart Hospital became the place where P.J.'s journey came to an end. His passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. However, it is important to remember and celebrate the incredible life that P.J. lived.
P.J.'s personality was best described as tough but resilient. Even when faced with adversity, he never gave up. His unwavering determination and resilience were an inspiration to those around him.
P.J. shared countless precious moments with his loved ones throughout his life's journey. Sadly, he leaves behind a grieving family who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Marshall; baby brother, Ryan Marshall; grandfather, Lonnie Jo Marshall; grandparents, Bonnie and Tedford Smith; great-grandmother, Myrtice Wood; and his loyal dog, Tank.
Those left behind to honor P.J.'s memory are his mother Debra Malin and stepfather Turner; brother David Marshall and his wife Kendall of Bauxite, Arkansas; sister Trisha Burton and her husband Cody of Bauxite; grandmothers, Patricia Ledbetter of Tull and Donna Thomason; nieces Chloe Marshall, Aubrey Parker, Sydnee Parker, Kylie Burton, Harper Burton, and Jordan Marshall; nephews Austin Parker, Bobby Parker, Easton Burton, Landyn Marshall, Cameron Teeter, Clayton Teeter, Timothy Marshall, and Andrew Marshall; uncles Phillip Marshall and his wife Jennifer, David Marshall, and Mike Marshall; and aunts Barbara Marshall, Melissa Creech and her husband Larry, Nancy Giles, Nicole Jacks and her husband Billy, and Tonya Wolgamot.
