Phillip Eugene Halstead age 65 of Bismarck died Friday, May 1st 2015 at his home. He was born December 11, 1949 in Beau Fort, SC the son of John and Aline Halstead. He was a retired project manage for Jacob's Engineering and a Baptist. His joy in life was his children and grandchildren and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Kay Halstead of Bismarck, six children, Angie Valentine of New York, Carla Moody of Dallas, Phyllis Norell Halstead also of New York, three step children, Chad Gallagher of De Queen, Katherine Pineda of Conway, Sarah Hammett of Benton,13 grandchildren, Seth, Cole, Declan, Delany, Hannah, Grace, Ethan, Jude, Katlyn, Brittany, Alexandria, Destiny, and Jada, one brother, Tommy Halstead of Alabama.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday, May 4th in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Chad Gallagher officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, Box 1653, Topeka, Ka 66601-1653.
