Phillip Wayne Drennan, 75, of Benton, passed away March 14, 2016. Born in Bauxite to John Wesley and Grace Sarver Drennan, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Drennan; daughter, Mistila Hunt of Little Rock; son, Ross Drennan (Jennifer) of Monument, Colorado; brother, Danny Drennan (Mal) of Little Rock; sisters, Linda Michlec of Pensacola, Florida and Carol Drennan of Hurricane, Utah; sister-in-law, Beth Drennan of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Bria Hunt, Spencer Drennan, Grant Drennan and Abi Drennan; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Drennan and Joe Drennan.
Phillip was an athlete, airman, avid reader, brother, bird-watcher, children's church preacher, coach, Colonial Bread Man, Daddy, dancer, friend, husband, mentor, pancake chef, pastor, pitcher, Pop, Papal, Razorback fan, school bus driver, son, teacher and youth director.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19 beginning at 1:30 p.m., followed by the service at 3:00 p.m. at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. Interment with Military Honors will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
