Phillip Edward Achor

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip Edward Achor of Sheridan, Arkansas. Phillip passed away suddenly on April 3, 2025, at the age of 48.

Known for never meeting a stranger, Phillip had a heart of gold. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need, offering kindness and support to all who crossed his path. Phillip’s love for life was something everyone could feel. From a young age, he developed a deep passion for dirt track racing at I-30 Speedway, where he spent countless hours alongside his cousin, Mikey. This love for racing remained a cornerstone of his life. Later, Phillip fulfilled a lifelong dream by building his very own go-kart track, I-530 Kartway, where countless memories were made, and the thrill of racing was shared with friends and family. Whether he was racing, out hunting and fishing, or singing karaoke and enjoying his favorite music, Phillip always brought so much energy and joy. His big heart and the way he lived life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Phillip is survived by his mother, Debbie Montgomery; his father, Phillip Edward Boothe; his sister Ginny(Neil) Ingram; his nephew, Landen Feimster; his brothers, Ryan(Sandra) Boothe and Cody Boothe; his Aunt, Kathy Chism; his Aunt, Amy Gardner; his Aunt, Sarah Speer; his Aunt, Susan Miller; his Uncle, Robby(Kathi) Chism; his Uncle, Roger Achor; his Uncle, Steve Achor; his Uncle, Earl Achor; his Uncle, Johnny Achor; his cousins, Mikey(Becky) Bolding, Krystal(Zach) Davis, Karen Chism, Dewey Chism, Robin Bullard, Brandi Fowler, Koti Wilson, his girlfriend Misty Clark, and his beloved dog Charlie.

Phillip is preceded in death by his grandparents, Sonny and Betty Chism; John and Louette Achor; his Uncle, Dewey Chism, Jr; and godmother Vandy Walker.

A memorial service to honor Phillip's life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared soon.
