Peyton Lee Mitchell

Peyton Lee Mitchell, 24, of Benton, Arkansas passed away August 17, 2022. Peyton was born July 2,1998 to April (Tucker) Scott and Chance Mitchell.

Peyton was a Journeyman Electrician for the family owned, Chreyton Electric. Peyton loved being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He loved going to the lake and was always the life of the party. When Peyton was not at the lake, he was almost certain to be found in the evenings shooting pool with friends at “The Tavern” Springhill Tavern. Peyton had an infectious smile and a heart of gold. He loved his fur babies, Koa and Onyx. Peyton loved being “Peyt” to his favorite nephew, Brantlee.

Peyton is survived by his parents: April Scott (Richard) and Chance Mitchell; sisters, Christen Mitchell (Nic), Taylor Bean, and Karissa Scott; nephew, Brantlee Sellers; grandparents: Buck and Debbie Tucker, Cynthia (Goshien) Dixon, Dwight Mitchell, Ralph “Pawpaw Ralph” Dixon (Lisa); special aunt, Anita “Aint Nita”; uncle, Brett “Bo” Sellers; aunts: Kayla Brooke (Derrick) and Andrea Brown (Andy); cousins: Drake Brown, Sydney Brown, Jack Brooke, Drew Hathcoat and Easton Sellers; and Steele Nichols, who was like a son to Peyton; as well as a host of other family members and friends that will all miss Peyton dearly.

Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 25th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
