Penny was an Army brat through and through. Her and her family traveled all over while her father was in the Army; Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Germany, and finally Tennessee. She graduated from Hendersonville High school in 1976. During school Penny would excel in her grades and many school activities. She was a people person and got along with everyone.
