She completed her undergraduate degree from UCA in 1990 and completed her Registered Dietitian degree at UAMS in 1992. She completed her internship at Children's Hospital. In 1993 she started her career at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hot Springs. In 1995 she moved to Baptist Hospital until her retirement in 2008. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Larry, and her wonderful girls, Stephanie Brooke (Mark) Whinstanley and Jessica Elizabeth "Libby" (Mike) Morgan. She was a doting "Mimi" to her greatest blessings, Lily Rose Clark and Violet Brooke Morgan. All her girls are Peggy's legacy and will carry on her shining example of a lover of Jesus. Other survivors are Steve (Linda)Curtis and Allen (Marybeth) Curtis of Little Rock, her dog, Maggie and lots of extended family and friends.
Peggy will always be remembered for her sweet, loving spirit and ever-present smile. The love she had for her family, friends and her giving heart. She was a Jesus girl and offers so much to the lives of ladies who were battling the same disease she fought for nine years. Heaven gained a beautiful lady of grace.
