Peggy Morrison

Peggy (Cannon) Morrison age 76, of Friendship was born February 27, 1945 and died Tuesday, December 21, 2021 after a brief hospital stay in Hot Springs. She was the daughter of the late Kell and Minnie Cannon.

Peggy was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She worked in various stores around the Friendship area for many years. Peggy enjoyed Vegetable gardening, tending to her flowers and plants, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Benny Morrison; a son, Timothy Morrison and four brothers, Druie, James, Harmon and Doyle Cannon.

Survivors are her children, Darrell Morrison and wife, Kelli of St. Joseph, Missouri, Shelia McMahan and husband, Phil of Friendship and Scott Morrison of Dallas, Randy Kaniecki; her daughter-in-law, Alice Morrison of Cabot; her brother, Kelly (Junior) Cannon and wife, Nancy of Sherwood; nine grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Morgan, Andrew and wife, Jeanine, Elizabeth and husband, Jack, Tanner, Caleb, Ashley, Kyle and wife, Brittany, Holly and husband, Grant, Amanda and husband, Justin; seven great-grandchildren and her constant companion, Bailey.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 28^th at Gilchrist Cemetery at Friendship. Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Billy Bosley and Kelly (Junior) Cannon officiating.

Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia is assisting family with arrangements.
