Peggy Sue VanVickle Lloyd, 73, of North Little Rock passed away January 4, 2016. She was a member of Cornerstone Bible Fellowship. She was born October 13, 1942 in Keiser, Arkansas to the late Vernon and Edna Curry VanVickle.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Walter Lloyd; children, Billy Ray Lloyd (Sherry), Bubba Lloyd and Tann Gattis (Mike); four grandchildren, Hannah Katlyn Lloyd, Jacob Harrison Lloyd, Jordan Marie Gattis and Michael Garrison Gattis; sister, Betty Joe Gray; brothers, Bruce VanVickle (Dennia) and Jimmy VanVickle (Ann).
Peggy grew up in a sharecropper family in Mississippi County where she learned her work ethic while picking cotton. She was the founder/owner of AdAmerica Advertising and Lloyd Sales Company, Inc.
Donations may be made in honor of Peggy Lloyd to The Baptist Health Foundation, designated specifically for scholarships in the Baptist Health School of Nursing. Make donations payable to The Baptist Health Foundation, 9601 Baptist Health Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7 at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship. Burial will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 6 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
