Peggy Griffith
Peggy Jean Griffith, 81, of McRae, Arkansas went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 26, 2012. She was born on April 15, 1931 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Everett and Emma Self. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who always placed her family's comfort above her own. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, B.A. "Buck" Griffith, and her parents. Peggy is survived by two sons, Jacque Griffith of McRae and Dan (Liz) Griffith of Maumelle; one grandson, Scott (Melody) Griffith of the U.S. Virgin Islands; one great-grandson, Zachary Griffith; one brother, Wendell (Barbara) Self; and numerous relatives and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to the extraordinary staff at Advanced Care Hospital in Searcy.
A graveside service will be held in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Beebe at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012.
Memorials may be made to the McRae United Methodist Church, PO Box 232, McRae, Arkansas 72102.
