Peggy Durham

Peggy Joyce (Adams) Durham, age 87, of Bryant, AR, passed away Thursday morning on March 13, 2025. 

She was born on January 11, 1938 in Conran, New Madrid County, MO to the late Vernon Floyd "Lost Forty" Adams and Myrtle Maude(Smith) Adams of Portageville, MO.

Peggy was proceeded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Marie (Durham) Robinson of Little Rock, AR; grandson, Cody Dallas Durham of Bryant, AR; one brother, Floyd M Adams of Wadesville, IN; one sister, Doris Faye Adams of Portageville, MO. Peggy worked for Western Auto and Durham Electronics for many years. She enjoyed sewing as a business and hobby where she made many quilts for family and friends. She enjoyed working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She always had a jigsaw puzzle in the works on a table in her living room. We will always remember her bean salad that she brought to all family get-togethers.

She is survived by 3 sons; Arvel Gayle Durham (Melody) of Maumelle, AR; Michael Ralph Durham (Denise) of Alexander, AR and Vernon Eugene Brown of Hot Springs, AR. Grandchildren; RJ Durham (Mckalie) of Morrilton, AR; Laura G Durham of Maumelle, AR; Gracie M Durham of Bryant, AR; Tiffany N White (Anthony) of Hot Springs, AR; CaSandra R Nichols of Jacksonville, AR. and Mark Brown of Memphis, TN; Great grandchildren; Gabe, Kairi, Kohyn, Kyri, Eaden and Braden; two sisters, Martha Jo (Adams) Brock of Fort Leonard Wood, MO and Mildred "Nita" J (Adams) Woodard of Carthage, TN. and many nephews, nieces, family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 1pm at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pulaski County, AR. Arrangements made by Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct, Little Rock, AR .

Pallbearers: Arvel G Durham, Michael R Durham, RJ Durham. Honorary Pallbearer: Gabe W Durham
