Pearlie Lucille Williams, 81, of Lonoke, Arkansas gained her angel wings March 3, 2020. She was born to the late Ulis and Clara Ann Rorie on June 29, 1938 in Big Flat, Arkansas.
“Lucille”, as she was affectionately known, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, gardening, fishing and playing the piano. Lucille was a wonderful cook, and was known for her yeast rolls. She was an LPN for most of her career, and also a cosmetologist, but her biggest accomplishment was being a mother and raising her three children. She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Milton Williams; sisters Gussie Gilbert and Mary Dee Richardson; brother Guy “Boobles” Rorie; and close friend Bobby Fox.
Lucille is survived by her children, Betty Cheney (Nelson); James Williams (Jennica), and JoAnn Koehler; six grandchildren, Nathan Cheney, Patrick Cheney, Joseph Cheney, James Williams, Alex Williams, and Paul Koehler; two great grandchildren, P. J. Koehler and Nestor Cheney; sister Katie Gower; and many other friends and family.
Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Bethlehem Methodist Church, with burial in Salem Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home. www.SmithFamilyCares.com
