Pearlee Evans

Pearlee Evans, of Beebe, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on March 8th 2016, at the age of 96.

She was preceded in death by her husband Austin Evans; one son Alton (Sonny) Evans; two daughters, Opal (Evans) Muncy and Shirley Evans; one grandson, Dr. Jeff Evans; three sisters, Fay Ruth Horton, Vera Horton and Letha Horton; eight brothers, L.D. Horton, Ocie Horton, Heston Horton, Dalton Horton, Kenneth Horton, Wayne Horton, James (Shorty) Horton, and Arol (Ed) Horton.

She is survived by three children, Harold Evans, Joyce (Evans) Raleigh, and Sharon (Evans) Zardo; twelve grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Her family would like to express our thanks to everyone at Summit Hospice, especially Mrs. Billie, Letty, Maria, Roxy, Cathleen, Tracy, Chaplain Scott, volunteer Ms. Katherine; and her caregiver Margaret Greer, for taking such good care of our mom.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. A celebration of her life will be at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m., with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Services will be conducted by Bro. Doyle Fort, Pastor of Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member. Chaplain Scott Cox of Summit Hospice will also speak at her service. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
