Pearl Nutt, age 87, of Amity, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019. She was born on July 25, 1931 in Pike City, Arkansas, the daughter of Oval Carroll and Stella Holcomb Carroll. On January 6, 1948, she was married to Dewey Nutt. She was preceded in death by two sons, Travis Nutt and Michael Nutt, her parents, three brothers and two sisters. She was a poultry farmer for many years and a member of the Amity First Baptist Church. She loved her flowers, especially roses, and working in her vegetable garden. She is survived by her husband, Dewey Nutt of Amity; her son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Charlotte Nutt of Amity; her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Bobby Perkins of Carlisle; her daughter-in-law, Glenda Harding and her husband, Ken, of Glenwood; seven grandchildren, Kim Moran, Stuart Perkins, Clark Perkins, Jon Nutt, Keli Mount, Brandie Benton and Ryan Nutt; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 1, 2019, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Chapel, Glenwood, with Bro. John McAnally officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, 1:00 PM until service time, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Jones Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Nutt, Gavin Nutt, Jake Nutt, Stuart Perkins, Clark Perkins, Brad Moran and Ken Harding. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
