Pearl Lynch Allen, 79, of North Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2008. She was born August 6, 1929 in Oppelo, Arkansas to the late Rev. J.R. Lynch and Annie Lute Lynch. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Oral and Loyd Lynch, and three sisters, Emma Lee Ferguson, Wanda Taylor and Dorothy Petray.
She was a retired employee of Maybelline. She was also a lifetime member of the Pentecost Church of God where both her father and husband were ministers. Her devotion to God and His service is something she will always be remembered for.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rev. Loyce Allen; two children, daughter Phyllis Macklin and husband Frank of North Little Rock, and son, Mike Allen and wife Terri of Alexander; four grandchildren, Maegan Smith and Aaron Macklin, both of North Little Rock, Melissa Allen of Alexander, and Candy Ruby and husband Jeff of Sherwood; great granddaughter, Haven Ruby, also of Sherwood; three brothers, Ralph Lynch and wife Vada of Little Rock, James Lynch and wife, Ruby of Pine Bluff, and Bill Lynch and wife, Barbara of Heber Springs; sister, Ethel Glover of North Little Rock, not to mention numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mulberry Cemetery.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday at Cornerstone PCG in North Little Rock with Bishop James Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
