Pauline Woodson, age 96, of Amity died Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was the 11th child of George W. and L. Pearl Doster, born on April 4, 1920, in Pike County, near Amity. She was preceded in death by her husband, AG Woodson; one son, Bobby Woodson; five brothers; and eight sisters. She was a lifelong resident of Clark County and a member of the Amity United Methodist Church. She was employed at numerous businesses in the surrounding area and retired at age 90 after working at the Centerpoint School in Roseboro. She was a highly principled lady with an untiring work ethic and a great sense of humor. She enjoyed gathering and surrounding herself with family and friends. She is survived by one sister, Bessie Cookman; one daughter-in-law, Virginia Woodson; three sons and daughters-in-law, George and Marilyn Woodson, Ted and Sheila Woodson and Rex and Linda Woodson; one daughter, Cynthia Jackson; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2016, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Glen Harris and Bro. Jack Herring officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Jones Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Garry White, Larry White, Milton Hancock, Dwight Kirkpatrick, Brady Adams and Ty Woodson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Doster, Horace Adams, Landon Wilson, Phillip White, Paul Kirkpatrick, Herbert Woodson, Darell Cookman and Kelly Doster. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Amity United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 142, Amity, Arkansas, 71921 or to the American Cancer Society, 901 N.
