Paula Ragan

Paula Denise Hyatt Ragan, daughter of Patricia (Patti) Elizabeth Bowden Hyatt and Thomas (Paul) Hyatt was born in Benton, Arkansas on June 15, 1956. She went home to be with the Lord, October 29, 2016. Those whom she is reunited with are her baby boy, Christopher Michael Davenport, her husband, Randy Ragan, and her father, Paul Hyatt. A celebration of her life was held November 1, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Benton. Paula wanted us to be left knowing, that although private about her personal struggles and health issues, that her love for her family and friends over her lifetime is where she found great joy and comfort. Paula was a "free spirit" with a generous and loving heart. She had many passions and missions was one of the largest. International missions to Mexico and Africa were two of her favorite trips. A few of local missions she supported were Habitat for Humanity, CJOHN, Race for the Cure and Veterans. Her family members, mother, Patti Hyatt; sister, Susan Hyatt DeCan and husband Larry; brother, Marty Hyatt; niece, Jamie Scott Hinojosa and husband Mike; nieve Jodie Scott Hinkson and husband Daniel; niece, Perry Hyatt; and great nephews Hayden and Logan Hinojosa will be honoring Paula's memory at Christmas, selecting animals to purchase from Heifer Project International. This was a favorite family tradition for Paula. Services entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Online Guestbook: www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
